Been looking for a good alternative case for the Agile Ghost, specifically the Pro series 7 strings but couldn't find any info on whether the SKB case for explorers would fit, but after seeing that it fit Schecter E-1s and knowing how big they can be I decided to give it a go and was very pleasantly surprised to find that I actually found an alternative to the bulky open square… read more cavity cases that rondomusic usually offers, for only $ more. There's a bit of space in some corners but that's to be expected seeing as this case is designed to fit various things like jackson kellys and BC Rich Stealths. It doesn't shift at all in the case when closed and is a very snug fit closed. Also I should note that I own an Agile Ghost Pro 725, 7 string 25.5" scale and it fits perfectly, but if you own the 727 (7 string 27") then it won't fit due to length. As for the quality of the case, I've owned plenty of SKB cases and currently own many and as usual, SKB quality is top notch!

If you own an Explorer you know the case is HUGE! This form fitting molded case is much more manageable for gigs and it's probably more protective than the case from Gibson...

A guitar builder friend of mine (Hope guitars) built me a spectacular Phoenix (Firebird shaped) guitar. Needed a case. The SKB is a light, super durable and very affordable case. This is my second SKB, I would not use any other brand of guitar case if I have to buy or replace a case. Just excellent.
