The fit of this case is extremely snug (really good). Do not make the mistake that I did and think they sent me the wrong case. At first fit it seemed that the guitar was about 1/4" to wide to fit Found out that was by design. I was instructed by ESP to push the treble side in, then apply pressure to fit the bass side in. I bought this new at Sweetwater for a used LTD Viper 256 that I picked up. Awesome case (Awesome guitar too! Wicked tone using drop C. Love the weight, fat neck and body thickness...). Everything is tight. And, I don"t know if today"s Viper is a touch smaller or this is the design of the case, but, form-fitting is an understatement. It"s a higher density foam. I had to set the guitar… read more in to the indentation, or form,with a little force. Just a little. And now the foam Is reset and hugs the guitar perfectly. The case is just like the guitar - built with work in mind.
