Solid case for the money

I bought this case because it is one of very few compact cases that will fit a strat style guitar and not take up a bunch of extra space and SKB is a company well known to make quality cases and they stand behind them. It's quite compact and lightweight like the 90s and early 2000s Fender cases, but with improved latches as well. While this case is not one of the extreme abuse… read more cases that will protect a guitar from being dropped out of an airplane and ran over a truck, it is solidly made and secures the guitar perfectly, much better than the standard Fender cases for that matter to the point I may order another to replace the square Fender case.
Great case for a Strat

This case is light and is a great fit for my Fender Deluxe Roadhouse Stratocaster. It has a nice storage pocket for picks strings, and other small items. My Sales Engineer, Dave Dunsire is always a great resource and Sweetwater gets all gear in your hands quickly.

Okay, I've had this case (SKB 1SKB-FS-6) a few weeks now. So far I'm pleased with it. Patrick Ortiz did a good job recommending this one to me. It fits my PRS guitar pretty good. A gig bag was better than nothing but wanted something with more protection. I was concerned about the fit since I swapped the factory strap buttons for strap locks. SKB case for custom Telecaster style

I had a friend of mine make me a custom Telecaster style guitar. He did a fantastic job. Swamp ash body, Birdseye maple neck and fretboard. Hot rail pickups ups and locking tuners. While traveling internationally, a major airline dropped my SKB rectangular case on the headstock end. The case didn't survive but my guitar did. Sweetwater came through for me in finding a replacement. The 1SKB-FS-6 holds my Telecaster tightly and the interior storage is plenty big for someone on the go. I also absolutely appreciate the four latches and the TSA lock. My previous SKB case did it's job well and I am glad Sweetwater could help me out to get another one.
