Yamaha APXT2 fits perfectly in this case, not too tight, not too loose. This case is the best of both worlds between a gig bag and a hard case. The rigid molded foam and plush lining is just like what you'd see in a hard case - extremely sturdy and excellent protection. Backpack straps and exterior pockets very usable, like a gig bag. And the whole thing is surprisingly lightweight, lighter than hard case or luggage.

We purchased this guitar case for our granddaughter. She will begin taking lessons this week. The case is perfect for her because it's a hard case inside to protect the guitar but the outside has feature that other hard cases don't have. There's zipper pockets to hold her lesson book and whatever else she may need. It has a nice carry handle but also has back pack straps which is… read more a perfect way for her to carry it. It is very light weight which is surprising since it provides so much protection. I highly recommend this case.
