My Favorite Acoustic Strings!
If i was going to be stranded on a desert island i would want to have plenty of Earthwood strings to get me through 20 years of being stranded. I am 68 and started using them in 1970. They are just perfect.
So far the best!
I spent many years trying different strings on my Fender CD-60 acoustic, I found these at a more local store. Glad I did, they improved the sound of that guitar, and switching down a string size made it much easier to play, as well! I have had no desire to try other strings since finding these, they sound quite nice when new, and still sound nice months later, as I clean my strings… read more after playing. I purchased more from sweetwater with a recent order so I don't have any excuses to not practice! I recommend trying them out, especially on the CD-60. And if you catch them on sale, even better!
Awesome
Had some mediums on but wanted to try these. Glad I did. Very nice tone. Warm, but powerful :). Should have gotten a 3 pack lol.
Value
Value, I love the strings on my baby Taylor they feel so nice and fit the size of the guitar so well and for the price under five dollars come on what do you expect to get again a true value for your money
Pro Sound
Been playing over 40 yrs. and these strings are my all time favorites. Started using Ernie Ball strings on my first guitar and then tried many others and still use others on some of my electrics ,but for the acoustics the Earthwood can't be beat ,and the price is great ! As others have said ,don't waste a lot of money on the more expensive brands just to go back to the best.
