I have been using the larger version of this pedal for about 5 years and mine works great. I use the minimum level to set the lowest volume I want to play at so I get I can sweep across the full travel of the pedal and not accidentally go too low. This is really nice if you are having to change volume level on the fly. Very rugged doesn't show signs of wear.

I love the ease of use and the effects I am getting by playing with it are great. Since I am in an area that is "Shelter in Place" I am learning the many attributes of this pedal. Nothing mechanical just light - too simple A+
Great for swells or as expression pedal

I bought this to use as an expression pedal but I see the value as volume control. One thing I did not expect is that no signal passes through when the pedal is in OFF position. So be ready for this to be "always on". The volume swells you can do with this remind me of steel guitar. I like the foot switch on this pedal because the Dunlop Crybaby-style switch would mean that… read more when turned on it would be at maximum volume. The size is smaller than I expected. Its really hard to judge scale in stock photos and I assumed (incorrectly) that the foot treadle was size-12 "whole foot" sized. It's pretty compact and solidly made. The glow-in-the-dark graphics are pretty cool and actually pretty luminous too.
