I was asked to play electric bass for the play "Newsies" Fun bass part, but the dynamics required by our conductor was causing me to have to take my hands away and adjust my volume knob quite often. This pedal solved the problem. It even allowed my to play very long sustained notes by plucking the string and slowly bringing up the volume with the peddle. These Boss pedals are very well built, and HEAVY. I am using the FV-500L as an expression pedal for a Korg Kronos. SPECIAL NOTE: Korg and Boss/Roland wire their pedals differently, so in order to get this to work with a Korg synth, you will need to wire a TRS cable with the Tip and Ring flipped on one end.

I got two of these for my Katana 2 head using them thru the GA-FC controller. These can be programmed for any effect in the Tone Studio software and make the Katana head a blast to use. These things are all metal and just big and solid. The adjustment on the bottom can be used to make stiff or light on the pedal sweep which is great. They use no power adapter and are plug and… read more play. I ordered stereo cables for them as they do not come with any cables as well. Just a great pedal. In my phot you can see how big these are compared to my Jerry Cantrel pedal. Just big. A shout out to Carter Drain for sending these out super fast. Rock on dude.

The first time I knew about the Boss FV-500H Foot Volume Pedal was from my two guitar heroes Steve Lukather and Michael Landau. This was the moment I would afford to have it and I did. Great addition to my pedalboard, also because its heavy build and resistant material really worth the price and durability. Very handy at the time to control the sound and clean receiver. Love it!!!
