EB For Life!
I use no other brand of strings EVER! These sound very bright and full on the acoustic.
Nice tone!
I rarely break strings on my acoustics, and I am not a gentle player, I strum hard. Been at this for decades, 20 years pro playing nearly every night, string breaks have been very rare, almost nonexistent. Of course, when in a nightly gig pattern, I would change strings every week at least. Anyway, not sure why I even tried these, it was not to have break resistant strings or enjoy… read more longer string life. I have to say what is impressive about these strings is the tone. I have a Martin Johnny Cash signature Martin, which is simply the finest sounding acoustic guitar I have ever played. The first strum on these, I was smiling like crazy, deep, rich, balanced sound, best of anything I have tried, and that includes just about every string made. Went down to extra-lights a while back, getting old, fingers hurt, but it seemed a shame on a guitar like mine. These puppies made up the tone difference and then some. Expensive, but worth it. Just recorded first tracks with these, real happy.
