A Very Pleasant surprise
I actually thought i was ordering the 2006 Earthwood stings. the 2006 had become my favorite acoustic string set. when i received these 2160's, i thought, oh oh. i went ahead and installed the 2160 set. once i installed these i could immediately tell a huge difference. I wasnt sure if i liked it. i was still trying to process the different sound i was hearing; but the more i played… read more it the more i liked it and now these have become my new favorite acoustic strings. Best accidental purchase i ever made.
Neck swap shock
These are the only strings I've found that lessen the neck shock switching from the electric to acoustic guitar in the middle of a set. The unwound third is a large part of this. If your acoustic and electric guitars have similar necks these strings are a must have. If you're planning on switching to electric these strings should help make the transition easier.
