The best electric guitar strings!
These are the best electric guitar strings! There's not much that I can say that hasn't already been said in countless reviews.
Hello McFly
I've been buying over priced strings for over a decade. I've always heard players, "super slinky", but, they're only 5 bucks, they can't be as good as the others ...WRONG... I just put a set on my American Tele, and you know what? That thing came to life! I s&_% you not. Just my experience, we all have different ears but, I've found a new string!
Best strings you can get
Been playing guitar for 13 years and have been using EBSS since the very beginning. Have tried other strings (EB Paradigm, EB Cobalts, EB M-Steels) and I always come running back for the classic Super Slinky's. Always been durable and dependable while being such a lovely string to play. Bends and vibrato just don't sound the same with other strings. Best Strings to use hands down if you have a Floyd Rose equipped guitar!
Absolutely love the sound and feel of these Super Slinky's! Have them on my Jackson Kelly JS32 w/ a licensed Floyd Rose and love these! I have Beefy Slinky's on my Stratocaster (have it tuned to Drop C#, my Kelly is in Standard E) absolutely my favorite strings from here on out. I used to use D'Addarios on my strat (Didn't buy my Kelly until here recently)
Ernie Ball Strings Are #1
My LTD EC1000 originally came with 10-46 gauge strings, D'Addario, which were just fine but after a while I decided I to switch to 9 gauge strings for easier playing and higher pitch. I play Black Metal which typically is higher pitch than other genres of Metal. Upon installation the new set of 9-42 Ernie Ball strings my guitar instantly felt and sounded better. I swear by Ernie… read more Ball. Do yourself a favor though and just buy the 3 pack, it doesnt hurt to have a couple back up packs.
