FINALLY!!!

This string set solved so many of my issues. I play a wide range of music from blues to metal. I have always like the feel of 10's but sometimes when I go to drop-D, the low strings felt a bit too loose and weak. This set solves all of those issues! PERFECT for 1/2 Step Down

So I bought several of the new EB sets, experimenting to find my perfect set for a new guitar I bought. Tried these first. Now I have a bunch of extra sets of strings! Here's why: If you like having a hybrid set like 9-46 in E Standard, for bending on the plain strings and digging into your wound strings, this is pretty much the next step up, especially if you play 1/2 step down… read more or Drop C#. These are absolutely perfect. When properly set up you can get your action plenty low with these in that tuning with the neck nearly dead straight and they will still play and feel fantastic, with no buzz. If you want to add some punch to your playing, try these. I've officially found my new usual.

"the perfect string" !!!

recently i switched from being a devout telecaster player to strats, guitars i've always secretly loved but haven't paid much attention to for many years. on my teles i always used the power slinky strings, and they felt great, but were waaaaay too stiff on my '95 strat plus, so i switched to hybrid slinky .09-.46. those were pretty wimpy for my ham-fisted fingers and overly-aggressive… read more playing style so i decided to switch to these which i've used before but not too much... there IS. perfect gauge!! these feel great! i never really bend strings but when i do i can "get there" on the .10 half, and the .11 half is chunky enough for heavy rhythm playing and provide a noticeable difference in the low end and the comfortable tension that i missed with .11s. my only qualm is that i wish they offered 3 packs of these because i always buy those in the .10s and .11s. other than that, these are a perfect buy for anyone who is comfortable with .11s but needs a little more flexibility.

The best string gauge combo for me

Finally EB has made what would be my signature set if I was a famous player ha ha ha. Anyway if you're like me and jump between power slinkies, regular slinkies, and skinny top heavy bottom slinkies. Really it comes down to what guitar I'm playing but this set is what I will use probably forever. I'm actually thinking of ordering a case box pallet whatever. I have purchased power slinkies and skinny top heavy bottom and switched and made this ultra gauge and the burly gauge I think. Anyway I have always loved EB's and these are great as all their strings are but the gauges are ultra for me. Buy them if SW can keep them in stock. These strings are like Frosted Flakes,.....THERE GREAT!!!!
