Best strings bar none

Been using the RPS 9's and 10"s for years. After trying everything else, I went back to them years ago and nothing beats them. I bend strings like mad and play hard and I rarely break them. I can't beat the daylights out of them literally and they still sound great and last a long time. I saw one review with someone saying they break them and either they got a bad batch or there read more is a fret issue.

Nice feel, nice tone

I really like the way these strings feel to the touch. They hold tune well. I've tried significantly more expensive strings, but these are the ones that work best for me. Very happy.

A quality set of strings!

I've been using these strings for a few years now. These strings have the same feel and tone as the regular Slinkys. Life span varies on how much you play(obviously) but I haven't noticed any significant increase or decrease compared to other sets I have tried. The RPS due provide a touch better tuning stability compared to regular Slinkys(only noticeable on the plains strings). read more I've never had a string randomly break on me and the intonation stays true set to set. Nothing fancy here but you do get quality and consistency.

I've had two sets of these on my PRS recently. So far, I haven't had any break on me. Knock on wood. They seem to last longer than Ernie's Regular Slinkys and they sound about the same.

Broken two strings already... time will tell

My new guitar shipped with these strings and it sounded amazing. I hadn't used this brand/model string prior to that. I was impressed and ordered and installed another set. I gave these 3 stars because of how great they sound. Strangely, two strings from the new pack have broken. The high E (10) broke at about the 14th fret. The D (26) broke near my picking location. read more I've played guitar for 28 years and it's RARE for me to break a string. So, to break two in one week is concerning. I'll give it more time and another set before coming to a solid conclusion about their durability. They do sound awesome, though. Bright, full, and clear... but not too bright. These strings do have a slightly stiffer feel than other strings.
