EB rock and roll classic strings

I was at GC buying strings for a few guitars I use on stage. I have always gone back and forth between EB and D'ad's. Lately the EB's were back on my Strat. They were out of the regular slinky that I use so I grabbed a set of these classic strings to try. I have always had problems breaking my B and G strings with D'ads and Fender strings. Not so much with EB. I was worried that… read more the construction and material of the classic would have the same problem as the non EB's. The jury is out in that they have only been on a week. My comment so far is that they have a lot of attack without being too bright. They sit well on the neck and feel good. The individual notes when chording are less distinct but have a good rock sound. Leads are good but the strings are a bit slow so far.
