Ok first thing you will notice about these strings is that they glide over your fingers. Second thing you will notice as you play is that they sound bright and full. Even after 3-7 gigs you will still have the same great tone with some basic care.( IE wipe your neck off after playing). The third thing you will notice is that they dont break the bank. I am amazed at how much life I get from these strings. I play 12-15 shows a month and used to have to change my strings every 5 or 6 shows. Blue Steel dont rust, don't lose their tone from the 1st to the 15th show. The only reason I changed the first set I had was because I thought I HAD to. Maybe my ears are going dead, they cant have lasted this long......I am at the point now… read more where I will change them when one breaks. And after 25+ shows they are still going....
