I grew up in Los Angeles, so with Ernie Ball being a local company, they were available everywhere. I'm talking 50 years ago, and yes, I'm still a Super Slinky guy. A few years ago I was forced to use DAddario, and the D string unwound at the 5th fret, cutting me. Nope...never again, once bitten twice shy as Ian Hunter said in the title of the song with the same title. These are the brightest and clearest sounding 9s I have ever heard/used. Very happy with them. They don't last long, but for the exceptional clarity and volume, they are well worth the short lifespan.

I try other strings once in a while but always come back to Super Slinky's. I've been using them off and on for more years than I want to admit to. As usual they came well packed and shipped quickly as with all my purchases from Sweetwater.
