Amazing Volume Pedal!
I'm a worship musician and I've been using this volume pedals for about 4 1/2 years and I've never had a problem with it. In fact I've had another guitar player ask me what kind of volume pedal I use because the range of my swells sound better than he could get no matter what volume pedal he uses and he's tried quite a few.
Nice improvement
I have been using the Ernie Ball mono volume pedals for just shy of 40 years. I love the natural swell ramp that it provides. I have had many issues with the string and spring set up over the years. I actually got pretty good at replacing them regularly. The new Kevlar cord is a fantastic improvement. The size of the 40th anniversary pedal is a little smaller than the normal mono… read more unit and I was not sure if I would like that. Turns out, I like it a lot. I don't use a volume pedal like a lot of people do, for swells and atmosphere . I use it for that, but I also use it for super tight cuts between chords. Sort of like digital editing on a computer, only I do it with my foot, live. Over time the pots in the pedals fail. There are replacements, but it has been a problem. I have a stack of failed Ernie Ball volume pedals. That said, here I am buying another, because they just work differently than all others, for my taste. I will say that the 40th anniversary pedal has an amazing feel in both function and construction. It just seems like it's a tank in a small package. I have used it at several rehearsals now and have zero regrets with my purchase. I highly recommend this product, despite any issues I've had in the past with the Ernie Ball volume pedal. I say that, simply because I abuse them tremendously. They hold up well and for a very long time. Go get one. Just do it.
My Favorite
I have two of the 40th anniversary volume pedals among 10 or 20 of the verious Ernie Ball volume pedals that i have acumaled since the 1970s. They are just the best pedals for volume control. These pedals are built extremely well and they jut keep getting better and better such as this newer anniversary model. I will be buying a few more soon. I keep them inmy gig bags and guitar… read more cases. I use volume pedas instead of the voume knob on my guitars. I run my guitar volume wide open and then control my volume with the Ernie Balls. I get a better sound that way. Plus I play a ton of steel guitar licks in my playing. Thank you Ernie Ball.
Excellent

(FREE) After using it just 15 minutes I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT This volume pedal is totally worth a few extra coins. Within the 1st few minutes I was able to create pedal steel-like sounds. Beautiful! #THANKQ SWEETWATER FIVE STARS
