Worth it.

Very nice product. Dropped it into a 1999 MIM Strat. Definitely helped things along. Also put Gen 4 Fender noiseless pickups in. Clean clear and louder.

Worth the Money

This Kit is worth the money. I'm not a professional when it comes to wiring guitars, and this kit made it easy for me to upgrade my Strat's tone in a short amount of time. When I go to upgrade my Telecaster, it will be an Emerson Prewired Kit.

CANT BELIEVE THE QUALITY

I will start this review with a shout out to Nate and all the folks that helped me out at Sweetwater! Thank you! A few weeks back I had ordered a Mojotone solderless wiring kit expecting two day shipping as it stated. Sadly I received an email later stating that they were currently out of stock. This is where I started biting my nails!! See I was ordering A wiring kit because two… read more of the pots and the switch in my Strat had failed. It was now Friday mid day, and I had a big gig Saturday evening at an outreach event. I got ahold of Sweet water and expected to just be refunded for the out of stock item. I asked if there were any other "drop and go" wiring kits in stock. THANK GOD, the answer was yes. Nate said there was an Emerson Pre-wired Stratocaster harness, but only the blender mod option was available. At the time I knew nothing about blender mods or blender pots or any of that. At this point I was willing to try it. I informed Nate of the urgency of my package being delivered, and no questions asked he Overnighted it to me and I had it Saturday morning by 9:30 AM. I installed it immediately which I am running some custom shop Texas specials with this wiring kit. And in all honesty I don't think I have heard a better sounding Strat aside from an original 60s Strat. The blending feature is absolutely phenomenal. I am finally excited to use my bridge position. I would say the second biggest perk about this is the treble-bleed which lets a person utilize the whole dial on the volume pot without losing clarity. All in all these pots have absolutely phenomenal taper, everything is top-of-the-line in quality, and I love that Emerson uses cloth push back wire which is the same as the custom shop pick up wire. I truly believe all of these little things that Emerson does differently than others is what sets them apart. The only issue I'm having now is that I can't put my guitar down. Don't even get me started on the five way switch… When switching between pick up configurations you can just feel the quality of the switch. I truly can't say enough good things. If you're thinking about buying this and you're looking at the price tag thinking dang that's a lot of money… It is a lot of money… But I would do it again 10 times over. Stop thinking about it....BUY IT! Thanks again Sweetwater!!!

For all you lefties out there

Being a lefty guitar player, I'm used to making things work in a right-handed world. I installed this in my lefty strat with no problems at all. A little twist here and a bend there and it went in perfectly. The only mod was I had to unsolder and repostion the bare ground wire on the blender pot and switch the 2 wires from the blender at the 3-way switch (which were not soldered… read more yet). Sounds great!! Highly recommend this mod for your strat!!

Emerson Custom 5-way Blender Prewired Kit for Fender Stratocasters - 250Kohm Pots

I'm writing this review about the guys at Sweetwater. I Ordered this kit for a strat upgrade I was working on. I never thought, but there is a difference in a right-handed verses left-handed kit, even on pots and switches. To the point that Emerson doesn't even make a left-handed version.
