Novel Micro Fun - what were you expecting?
A fun, portable optional battery powered amp. Expect nothing more. Mocking laughter to the ones reviewing it as though it were supposed to be anything else. Warmth? Yes, it's there - there's this tone control and you can get it to be warm and subdued. But really, it's 3" speaker so expect what that delivers Clean? Yes, it can get it - you know it's just not that loud for clean… read more but you can make it loud enough to be annoying. Just for fun I ran my Katana send through it and everything is good, quiet and rocking so I don't bother the neighbors let alone the sleepy house at 1am. Distortion - yes - fuzzy and thin if you try to run the amp into a realm where 9 volts just doesn't cut it. I say play it in the realm where it belongs - if you're a seasoned player you know where to find an amp's limits. Take it to the beach, street corner or friends garage and have a ball with this because it's a great and novel (and workable) amplification device. Trying to compare it to anything else is like trying to compare a Barbie doll to your girlfriend.
I wouldn't bother
Kept cutting in and out.I had to return this one and it cost me $... just for the experience of trying this little fart machine. Not a particularly good product in my opinion.
Micro amp
This little amp is cool looking. To get the amp to breakup, you have to turn it way up. There is no warmth at all. Be careful. I was afraid I would blow the speaker. I personally won"t buy this. That"s why I returned it. It looks cool, but not for the money. There are better micro amps. Watch YouTube videos on the best ones and make your mind up then.
Eh, It’s Okay
It"s okay. Was hoping it would sound better, but should have know something this small just doesn"t pack much sound.
