Exactly the pickup your Les Paul is asking you to buy for it. Many thanks, Sweetwater for a fast delivery and many, many thanks to Matt Emick for making it all happen.

I had the pick-up installed with a new cts pot in my Epiphone 335 pro. Wow is all I can say! It sounds so rich,I love it.

In combination with the '57 Classic neck pickup, my Les Paul now gives me just the sound I was hoping for.

I knew what this was when I bought it: simply an EXTREMEMLY accurate reproduction of a vintage Gibson Humbucking pickup.Vintage Gibson pickups were scatter wound, meaning often times apickup had a few more winds than "normal". This made the pickup a little hotter. Not blazing hot, but smoldering. This pickup in the bridge position is ALMOST too hot. Frankly, I'm a single coil kinda read more guy. However I know Gibson pickups from the late 1950's are the most sought after pickups in the world. The Gibson Classic 57 Plus is not a homerun.....IT'S A GRAND SLAM !
