Hand wired amps do have the better sound, it all is proven by the activity of the electron's lifespan inside those nice vacuum tubes at varying voltage levels as you plek the strings whether tones set on clean, distortion or crunch, forty watts are not terribly loud but loud enough, if you are going to the stadium, then mic it for a vast experience in music performance. It’s a beauty
Where should I start? This amp is awesome! No lie. I haven't even gotten to plugging any pedals into it yet. Plug in a Strat and you'll get crystal cleans for miles that just start to break up at higher volumes with bell like tones and gorgeous sustain. The purity and clearness of the sound is a thing of beauty. Fender 57 deluxe twin
I tried a marshal jubilee, than the 57 1x12 amp by fender. Both very good equipment but thanks to Sweetwater return policy decided to try the 57 2x12 fender twin, finally I could stop chasing the sound I wanted. Great sound.

The Fender 57 Twin Amp is the best Guitar amp made period. I know that"s a strong statement. I also own great guitar amps and great guitars and great sounding pedals. So why so great. I run a Stymon blue sky reverb pedal and a Friedman BE-OD overdrive/distortion pedal through the 57 Twin. WOW, the sounds are just amazing. The amp handles these high end pedal perfectly and the sound is as good as it gets. It"s also great looking amp and worth every penny I paid for. This amp is amazing ! It will do anything as far as blues , blues rock , country , jazz , classic rock , no problem! Heavier stuff , well you"re probably not looking at this and it"s not for that. It"s great on its own IF you"re playing somewhere where u can turn it up, it has a wonderful clean tone (duh it"s a fender) but with volume turned up it saturates wonderfully and you can… read more manipulate the saturation easily with your guitar volume , it"s very simple yet perfect and takes pedals very well , but again if your able to turn it up it doesn"t need them !
