It's Okay...
Not a bad capo, I guess, but I wasn't a fan of it. Felt like it was a bit difficult to maneuver. I ended up giving it away.
Bit of a fiddle
I had to mess around figuring out that i had to squeeze this capo together to get it to open up. At 1st I got a pliers to try then knew I would mar it up so re-thought further how to open it. This capo could scratch up a neck on an instrument so us it carefully. Some instruments can be VERY expen$ive so don't scrap them up with this capo.
Looks good on paper
I don't know if this capo works as the capo can't be opened or closed without a pair of pliers and a screw driver. I could finally get it opened with the screw driver but it looks as if it were bent during production? And this it won't close without pliers. So I haven't really been able to even put it on my guitar to see if the other negatives are true. Fortunately I ordered through… read more Sweetwater, the best music store in the world, so I am just sending it back for a refund and will stay with my 7th G or Kyser.
Great Capo
I really like this capo. It is easy to adjust for proper tension across all strings. There are a few things the buyer should be aware of: 1. You may or may not be able to store it behind the not. I can do it on my Martin HD-28V, but only if I remove my D'Addario Planet Waves micro tuner. 2. On my guitar it will only go to the seventh fret. This is not an issue for me, but it might… read more be for some. 3. The two hinge pins are very light weight, so I'm not sure how they'll hold up in the long term. I'm keeping my Shubb capo in my guitar case as a backup. All in all, I'm very pleased with this.
Not a great capo
I would not recommend this capo. Even taking it very carefully not to adjust it too much, this capo left marks in my brand new guitar Guild D55.
