I didn't know what I was missing out on, not having a volume pedal in my chain. More specifically, after my drive section of my board. It makes all the difference. I'm able to get the distorted sound I want and run a solid signal into the front of my pedals without blowing up the rest of my signal chain with a huge distorted signal. This pedal also works great for swells. No more… read more knob rolling! Quality wise, I love this thing. It is smooth with just the right amount of resistance so you don't accidentally go toe to the floor when you step on it and blow ear drums out. Super great pedal!

It's great to have a volume pedal on your board. Great for swells. Controls volume, but also some tone depending on where you put it in the chain. For now I've got it at the beginning just after the tuner. It works pretty much like my 250k volume knob on my Tele so I try to keep it full volume all the time for the best tone. Smooth functioning and seems solid.
