Solid Expression Pedals
These are my favorite expression pedals, so far. They are build well and the movement of the pedal feels just right. I have two on my pedalboard.
Heavy Duty
The most solidly built pedal and versatile expression/volume pedal I have found. I've had a number of volume and expression pedals. The Ernie Ball with the 25k pot serves as either. I can use it in line before an amp or before my Helix, or I can put it in the FX loop of either. Connected with a single TS (instrument)cable into the output jack of the pedal, it functions as an expression… read more pedal for my Line 6 Helix products. Using a Y cable that splits TRS to TS to the in and out jacks of the pedal, it can be used as an expression pedal for effects and boards that require a three conductor (TRS) plug. What I really like, though, is the swing of the pedal. A lot of pedals have a very limited range of motion. That's fine for Wah, that's the way wah pedals are made. But for a volume and expression pedal I expect more range top to bottom. The Ernie Ball has about 1-1/2 inches of range compared to less than 3/4 inch with some other rather expensive expression pedals. One of the purchases I have ever made.

Perfect Choice
I recently purchased a Fender Mustang Gt-200. I love the amp, the models are amazing, but I was having trouble maintaining a consistent volume level between presets. I did a little research and decided that I needed a volume pedal. I bought the Ernie Ball 6181 VP JR 25K Volume Pedal for Active Electronics. I ordered it on a Monday and it arrived two days later. It works like… read more a charm. I just put it in the effects loop and now my volume levels are so easy to control. Another plus is it doesn't require a battery or a wall wart. Now I wonder why I didn't purchase it sooner. I would definitely recommend this pedal to everyone I know.

This pedal is exactly as described. It allows me to enhance our times of worship at church. Built very sturdy.
