Great amp for shows

I have been hesitating taking my vintage bassman to gigs but really love the sound. But it is old and fragile so I finally found the best amp with the closest sound that is not too heavy and performs great. This hand wired deluxe is just what I needed. It sounds almost as good as my vintage amps and offers lots more reliability and reverb :-) I believe my hunt for the right amp read more is over (famous last words)

Great Amp, Great Service

The hand wired version of the Fender Deluxe Reverb '64 reissue is a terrific amp. The sound is that sweet vintage Fender singing tone. The inherent power is perfect for a small to medium sized venue and miking the amp will make it possible to play in larger spaces. I also really like that the reverb and tremolo are available for either channel. The portability of the amp is a big read more plus, since it weighs under 40 pounds. This amp gives makes me happy every time I turn it on and plug in. The service at Sweetwater was great. I asked a question over email, got a response the same day. I ordered it the next day and it took only one day before it was delivered to my door. Jordan was the guy who answered my email and he helped me with the sale through every step. He was nice, genuine and asked me what I was looking for instead of telling me. There was no pressure and I am very happy with everything. I've had the amp for a couple of weeks now. I've played gigs with it, practiced with it and generally have been putting it through all the paces. This amp is an A+ period! The service couldn't have been better. I give the entire experience the highest recommendation.

My “Go To” Amp

I absolutely love this amp! A buddy of mine recently bought a real 1964 Deluxe Reverb and once I played through it I had to have one but unfortunately I could not afford a vintage one and the fact that they can be somewhat unreliable due to age kind of worried me so this amp was the closest I could get and I got to say I am very impressed and I know once I break the speaker in it read more will sound even better! I guess the only negative thing I will say is that I wish the faceplate said "vibrato" like the originals did. The "bright" kinda bothers me but oh well. Also, I wish that fender built black a footswitch with the "RCA" jacks instead of the Made In Mexico footswitch that comes with this amp. Other than those couple things, I am in love with this amp and look forward to years of fun with it!

Two Thumbs Up!

What a great amplifier! No issues at all with this amp. It's lightweight. Sounds amazing with humbuckers, single coils, P-90's, and Filter'Trons. I swapped the Jensen for an Eminence GA-SC64, which gave it some extra oomph and more clean headroom. Our band does mostly originals in the style of Elvis Costello & the Pretenders - perfect match for powerpop. Sweetwater was excellent read more to work with and Brandon always follows up with an email or phone call to make sure I'm a happy customer. Nice job, Fender!

Simply the tone. Everything you expected for classic rock. Lot of clean headroom. My first tube amp and just can't regret.
