This thing is freaky. I've tried it with the Boss Ph-3 and it was wierd. DD7/DD20 is a world I need to explore more of. The best pedal pairing of my collection is the Fender Pinwheel. You can get a rhythmic tremor going that pretty sweet! It's not a simple as it looks and I'm still learning the thing but it seems promising!

I bought this to use with my modular synth set up and am pleased with the sequencers ease of use. It sends a cv signal in a pattern of steps that can be changed with the sliders (these change the voltage level) or by selecting how many steps in your sequence. I have been using it to automate different features on my synths. such as lfo, vcf and pitch etc and can add some excitement… read more and unpredictability to your sounds. I have not tried this as an expression pedal yet but im hoping to use this to alter the wa wa and modulation fx in my other pedals. Great fun and many options to explore.

I use the EHX 8-Step Program with my Minimoog Voyager and actually use it to manipulate a 16 Step Sequence creating very complex Rhythms! The Quantization capabilities of this Pedal are a hugely useful Feature as well! And I find the CV to MIDI OUT perfect for this apedal to act as a middleman for certain connectivity needs! I use this Pedal to create an 8-Step Wave laid over another… read more separate sequencer Pedal, (which I won't name here) or to control a single CV channel on my Synth. I can't see how I got on without this bottle shaped my music's sound!
