Dunlop 87N Capo
Works just as well on a Les Paul but opens easier than the Dunlop 83C. Curiously made a little smaller than the 83C.
Good Capo!
Although I haven't used it too extensively, it has clamped on great to every guitar I have tried it with. Feels sturdy and strong without being too big and getting in the way of my fretting hand.
Capo Quest
I've been buying capos of all types, brands, prices, and designs for quite a few years. The electric and acoustic Dunlop trigger capos were on a price drop... So i had to try them just on principle. Aside from the super stiff spring mechanism, these capos do exactly what they are supposed to. When the package came and I pulled this capo out of the box I thought, "Oh great, I just paid way too much for a piece of junk!" It was so light I didn't think it could possibly be any good. Boy was I wrong! This is thing is deceptively solid, and if the spring and padding holds out, I see no reason it wouldn't last a lifetime. It's finish is well polished with no sharp edges anywhere.… read more I don't seem to have any tuning issues with it, at least not on my Les Paul, but a tension adjustment would have been nice. I guess that's why there are separate electric and acoustic versions, though.

I can use it on electric and acoustic.Works fine on both of my guitars.I like Dunlop products...haven't had any issues with them
