Last forever, sustain for days, bright. Great strings, worth the extra money, in the end they will outlast a standard set of strings 3 times longer, so they end up being cheaper. They also do not make your fingers grey with that oxidation that builds up on non coated strings. The strings always stay smooth and free from oxidation that will slow you down on other strings. I play… read more everyday and have played cleartones for 3 years(since 2018). I have never broken a string and my strings tend last about 18 months, Again I play a few hours almost every day. I am only replacing them because after 18 months they are not holding tune very well any more. Really really happy with performance of these strings, AWESOME!!!!

Great strings!

I'm a DR Tite Fit .009 guy. They are great strings, too. The benefits of these Cleartones are they stay in tune and don't require a lot of stretching to get them right. The coating doesn't feel like a coating and they are bright and articulate (maybe, it's that they are wound at string tension). They are pretty slinky and you don't get a lot of extra string noise. These strings meet all my criteria and I like that they are so easy to tune and you get consistent tone immediately.... for a long time. I loved DR Tite Fits, they are beefy sounding and have a great bluesy tone. But, I'm liking the Cleartones more, and I won't have to change them for a long while Bonus!!!!

Best coated strings!

I've tried different brands of coated strings with just "ok" results. These strings are the best I've ever tried. I've had them on for about 4 weeks, and they are still sounding good. I like how smooth they feel and sound when sliding up and down the strings.

Cleartone Strings

Very nice so far, I have had these on for a week and they are still fresh sounding and tune up good. That already puts them a notch above the other strings I have used. I am going to leave them on and see how long they will last and maybe write another review and let you know how long they go and still have tone and tune up.
