I decided to try these strings as an alternative to the .010-.052 Elixir Nanowebs I normally use since those are essentially impossible to get right now. These strings are not at all comparable when it comes to the lifespan you would expect for a typical set of coated strings. Despite washing my hands before playing and wiping them down and cleaning them after every use, the strings… read more started to show signs of tarnishing after just the third day of using them (the three unwound strings were especially bad).
