As far as tone goes, these were dang good strings, the only problem is my low e broke in only a few days.

Recently put a (12-59) set on my Martin D-28 and it's a game changer. These strings provide a balanced and played-in tone from the start, with the added benefit of easier playability with minimal string noise and squeak compared to other strings. They are great for fingerpicking/fingerstyle but also can withstand vigorous strumming. I will only use Thomastik-Infelds on all my guitars… read more from now on.
