The ultimate rock pickup!
I've been playing for 35 years and I own close to 30 guitars. If I had one choice of pickup to use and that was it, I'd go with the Alnico 2 bridge. It's the perfected gritty rock and roll pickup. I power my SG with it, and heck if you can beat it coming through a Marshall. I heard this in a buddy's guitar (through a JCM slash cabinet- what a terrific sound) and had to have one for myself. It is just excellent, sounds just about like Slash, even through my 1960b cab.
Awesome Pickups
This pickup and its twin brother at the neck have turned my Epiphone ES335 into a thousand dollar guitar. The tone is full and rich with all kinds of variations from rock to country tones depending on your gain and tone settings. It really enhances the sound so much.
