Love this pedal! Have had it for several months to run a Marshall/Blackstar rig. So easy to switch between the two amps and very quiet. Also - it has a small footprint for what it is. I looked around before getting this unit and it is clearly the best bang-for-the-buck. From the transformer on the "B" channel to the phase switch to the buffer. Well built and it does what it is suppose to do. It is expensive for what it does. I can say that about everything now I am old.

I use this pedal to route my guitar to either the channel one effects loop with my multi-effects pedal or dry into the high gain channel. There is no loss of signal whatsoever. This has really been a game changer for my rig. This does not come with an AC adapter, so you have to unplug the guitar when not in use if you want the battery to last more than 3 hours. This ABY pedal has transformed my rig! I can now instantaneously switch between cleans on one amp (e.g. Vox AC), and kick back to my second amp (e.g. Orange Rocker) for gain. With multiple channels per amp and separate foot switches that came with those amps, I have 4 channels on tap. I can also play through one amp and bring in a second amp using the "Y" option, to thicken out… read more the sound during certain licks for more emphasis. It is like boosting a solo, but even better because the combination of two different amps is a fuller more complex sound than a simple boost. Orange did a really great job designing this pedal - there is no ground loop noise, the switching is seamless and quiet, and there is a button to switch the phase of one amp if the speakers are out of phase with those of the second amp. Like all Orange gear I have purchased, the indicator light is big, bright and beautiful, and the pedal has a solid build and looks great.
