Plethora of tones
I can actually get a sound highly similar to my tube driven worn out ecoplex which generally is quite difficult by my ear it takes some fiddling with but I think I may have unrealistic expectations anyway a superior tone generator and I highly recommend it
Great digital delay
I am absolutely satisfied with this digital delay which perfectly meets my expectations (I love the effects and the delay is for me the king), complete but ultimately easy and instinctive to program. In summary, many presets (128) including 4 accessible to the foot (practical for live), speed in bpm or mls (or tap tempo), type, saturation, modulation, tone, feedback, mix, etc.… read more A delay to create or reproduce is done easily and quickly and each characteristic remains modifiable thereafter. I do not use the "dynamic delay" option for the moment, probably wrongly, but I really like the idea. Perfect for those who need a full delay, which sounds great without being complicated to handle.
Phenomenal sound quality
In nearly every online demo of this pedal I could find (with the exception of Sweetwater's, thankfully), the reviewers are overly obsessed with the "dynamic expression" feature and spend all their time on that. It's a cool feature to be sure, but where this pedal truly excels is in sheer sound quality. The engineers at Seymour Duncan are biting at the heels of the Strymon folks… read more with some truly suberb tone algorithms here, and I say that as an owner of a Strymon delay as well. In my view the Andromeda is just a fantastic piece of kit for any musician who wants a highly-useable top-drawer delay workstation with lots of power that can cover a range of terrain, yet doesn't require a PhD and 500 hours of deep tweaking to operate effectively. So, if you're looking at this delay and you're like I was (i.e. you care about the sonic quality of its bread-and-butter delay tones, and you could care less about outlandish reverse ping-pong delays that respond dynamically to your pick attack), take it from me that the Seymour Duncan Andromeda is a winner. I'd give it the full 5-stars if it had a more than 4 presets per bank (it has 128 total, which is great), a shimmer feature like the Timeline and DD-500, and a "matching" midi controller from Seymour Duncan availabile for additional purchase.

A Superb Delay Pedal
Deciding to purchase this pedal was one of the best decisions I ever made. This pedal gives you total control over your delay tone and is versatile enough to be used in a variety of situations. The dynamic expression feature is perfect for dialing in just the right amount of delay for your playing and gives you the chance to create a sound that is unique to your play style. Add… read more in the midi capabilities to the equation and a whole new world of opportunities becomes available. This is especially helpful in live applications when playing at different tempos because you simply plug a midi controller into the delay and you can seamlessly transition to your next delay you have tailored for a specific portion of a song. This pedal opens up entirely new avenues of creative expression.
