SD Antiquity II Mini Humbuckers
These pickups sound magnificent but be aware of 1 issue: these come with semi permanent connection with the creme plastic rings. I needed these for an older Hamer Eclipse and assumed I could easily install them. I had to put a lot of effort into making them work. Look at the bottom of the height adjust screws. They cannot be adjusted without cutting them apart, as the screws… read more have tiny nuts that are soldered. I hope Seymour will offer these without solder and with threaded feet. They do sound great!

I'm usually a standard humbucker player. But something about the minis just hits a sweet spot in a mix. Even when playing alone, they sound fantastic! I purchased a Gibson 70s Studio about six years ago and used it on and off since then. The stock mini's it came with were great, but left something to be desired. They sound so full and precise! I play mainly rock, and "hair" metal. Lol. Normally I see people use these for more classic or blues stuff, but they can get down right dirty as well! Without a doubt, the BEST mini humbuckers I've ever heard!
