Really well-balanced neck pickup

Chris

I bought the Antiquity II to replace the stock neck pickup in my Mexican Tele. If you're looking for a lush, creamy neck tone out of your Tele then this pickup is an excellent choice. It's really balanced in terms of the entire frequency range. I don't really hear TOO much of anything (lows, mids, highs). You should note that this isn't a high output pickup so if you're desiring read more something screaming this isn't going to get you there. It sounds great distorted, but it's more of a chunky sound with much less sear than a lot of other pickups. I did raise the pickup a bit to compensate for a much louder bridge pickup that I purchased. I've read in other reviews that the Antiquity series can be a bit noisy, but I didn't get that at all. I would definitely recommend this pickup to anyone looking for a crystal-clear neck pickup. Sweetwater is awesome, and I plug them in every review so I'll keep this short. Chris Lewis is great, the service is great, the availability of products is great, the prices are great, and I don't know any retailer that delivers as quickly!
