Great Dynamic Sound
I installed these in my Strat coupled with the Emerson Blender electronics kit and now the guitar has never sounded better! Much of the hum has been eliminated while still preserving that raunchy Strat tone. These pickups create a fuller, more in depth tone that seems to carry more sustain than what came stock from the factory. Very versatile for any playing style, not just surf.… read more Not too crazy about the aging and would probably opt for the non-aged set in hindsight for purely synthetic reasons. My only complaint with installing these bad boys is that the screws that hold them in place are to short. The magnets in these are quite powerful and require a pretty good gap between the p/u and strings, hence longer screws are needed to suck them down into the pickgaurd.
