Exceptional tele pickup!
I have had a relic Fender tele with a stock Fender twisted tele neck pickup for several years. I always thought that the guitar sounded really good and it did. Played the guitar with my band last nite and after one song the bass player, who has really good ears, looked over and asked what was going on with my tone because it was the best he had heard. To me that's the best endorsement. Tone is very subjective of course but for me this is the best tone I have had. I play blues, classic rock and some country using a Dr Z Z Wreck Jr amp. I also installed an Emerson pre wired tele switch, volume and tone knob kit which I recommend as well.
