Great classic rock tone and works well with a high gain amps. The neck pick up is especially impressive, sings with plenty of sustain. Loaded into a V and added the Gold trim rings, Rock n Roll.

Called Grant Vitek and he was very knowledgeable. He recommended the perfect pickup's. They sound great!!!! Always ask for Grant Vitek, you'll forever be pleased!!!

I give every solidbody guitar I buy a chance to wow me with the stock pickups. I have taken out Gibson Custombuckers out if historic reissues and replaced them with these. Just the right amount of hot. Really pissed off sounding vintage pickups that still sound vintage but hot in all the best ways. These are like a perfectly fine steak, not too rare, not overcooked. Just right.

I have used Dimarzio's and Fender replacement pickups before, but this is my first set of Seymour's. I love these pickups! These are single conductor pickups so there is no ability to coil split or tap. Just thought I would let everyone know that. These pickups have a rich, full sound. The bridge is just a good rock 'n roll pickup. the neck is one of the most beautiful sounding… read more neck pickups I have ever played. They are both very crisp and articulate. They sound amazing clean or dirty. Clean they are crisp and have a great chiming sound. If you like the sound Slash gets then buy these.
