Exceeds expectations
I purchased the Area T bridge and neck from Sweetwater about 6 weeks ago. I am a pickup junkie anyway. I own 6 electric guitars but I probably own 14 different pickups, and I have bought and sold and tried many. realizing that pickups and speakers can make a huge difference. These were better than I expected. nice warm but snappy Tele tone. almost no string pull. not 100% dead quiet,… read more but 85% quieter than regular single coils. I put this set in a high end Don Grosh guitar that I was thinking about selling, Now no way. I also put one in a b bender tele I have. Very pleased with both. HIghly recommended..
The Sound of Silence
I purchased both the Area T bridge and neck pickups - easy install, no hum, and sounds like a Tele should. I also did not have to change out the stock pots on my late model Telecaster Standard in order to retain the brightness and clarity. Mission accomplished!
Great tele pickup
This pickup is just what l was looking for, great full tele twang and no hum.Sounds better than pickups at twice the price. So if your looking for a good all around pickup this one is for you.
TONE to the Max
I've very much disliked DiMazio pickups in the past, but heard this pickup and was seriously blown away. Thick twang for a tele. It's a stacked humbucker, but still responds like a single coil, just with a little more gerth. I love this pickup for a tele.
