Amazing small combo!
The Atma combo is my perfect grab & go small combo. Simple controls with a lot of range, and more importantly, tons of great tones available, from sparkly clean, edge of breakup & more than enough gain. 1/5/18 watt switch truly makes it usable at any volume, and at 18 watts, you get plenty of volume for most shows, especially if you're micing it through a PA. The gain channels have a ton of range as well, with the 60/70/80 voicing switch. My favorite voicing is 70's, but I often use 80's mode for low volume (more compressed & less output). 60's mode is a great extension of the clean channel, great low-mid gain tones. I've had the head for about 4 years & bought the combo for rehearsals. I can't say enough good things about the Atma. I have 5 Bogner amps & two of them are Atmas :). Try one, you won't regret it!
Bogner tone monster
Great variety of tones from this little powerhouse. The cab itself is very resonant, you can actually hear highs standing on the side. Clean channel is wonderful, goes from blackface to tweed.Gain channel has a boost channel too, and you set the volume and relative gain between Ch 2 & 3. Easy. Set the gain the same if you want, then jack up the volume so solos stand out. Two… read more modes, 3 Settings: so you can haveClassic 60sClassic 70sClassic 80sModern 60sModern 70sModern 80sAll with a different feel/ gain structure.Add to this 18/5/1 switchable power modes, and this amp does it all.
