Excellent
Great looking and sounding 3/4 guitar.
Smallest guitar I own.
First thing I noticed was how cute the dang thing is. And it has such a big sound. Haven't plugged it in yet. I'm sure it will sound as good as my GSmini. It was packed with Sweetwater's usual care. Very happy with it.
Better than expexted
I have had a Martin Backpacker for years and never liked the tone or playability (unbalanced/ neck heavy). Always wished I spent a little more and got a Baby Taylor instead. Finally looked again and decided on the koa with electronics. Sure, the tone is not like my high end Taylor but it sounds great. Sustain is amazing. Overall quality is good. I would even use this as a gigging guitar. It has become one of my go-to guitars to play at home too. Built in tuner is so convenient too!
Oh BABY!
The design of the BTe-Koa is excellent. It's got the voice of a much bigger guitar. It fills the room. The tone is excellent and the look of it is rich. Basically, unless you've got really fat fingers there's no need for a big boxy guitar (except if you think it might impress someone else). Whether you are traveling or playing at home, this is much more comfortable to play than… read more the full size dreadnaught. The set up is great, so there's no need to have it worked on. It's right, right out of the box. So, unless you feel a need for fancy trim details at several times the prices this is a winner! Go try one out. It's the bomb!
Love my Koa Baby Taylor
Bought this guitar to travel with and to take to the office. I am a small person, so I am very happy with Taylor's smallest travel guitar. I love the koa, it has a rich, shimmery tone. The tuner is spot on and it sounds good plugged in. As with my Taylor Grand Concert, the Baby is easy on my hands and is very comfortable to play. I am very happy with my purchase. I am excited to… read more fly with it shortly.
