Great Guitar
I was looking for a guitar to give me an upgrade from the $300 range guitars to higher and was recommended to try this guitar. It plays well and sounds great. You definitely get your money's worth with this guitar and won't be disappointed. I love the natural finish on my acoustic guitars, not the gloss and this one was perfect. Amazing tone/no frills
I'm quite satisfied with my 210ce. I also chipped in the extra dough for plekking, as one of the other reviewers here recommended. This was my first acoustic over $500, and the tone is true step up. I play with a group of singers and they noticed the improvement immediately. The electronics are fantastic as well. I've only played a few other a/e rigs, but this is head and… read more shoulders above: clear, consistent, and easy to interact with in real-time. My only criticism of the guitar as a whole (and it's not enough to lower the rating) is that to keep costs low, Taylor gives the 210 a SUPER light finish. Unfortunately, if your fingers brush the body when you strum (as mine do), the sound is amplified quite a bit more than it would be on a lacquered top. On the flipside, if you play "In The Air Tonight", you can crank out the entire drum fill at full volume with just a few light finger taps;) Bottom line, with this guitar, you're paying for the tone, and that's what you get. Don't buy it expecting extra frills and you won't be disappointed. I also have to give a shout out to my sales rep, Mike Wright. The fantastic customer support reputation at Sweetwater is well earned. They're the real deal.
