25 years later they are still bad to the bone!
Owned one 25 years ago and it was great There new ones are even better ! This thing cranks like no other and it's pure metal machine …. No complaints
Impressive
I bought this amp to fill the need I had for a two channel amp with a clean channel for pedal steel, and a lead channel for guitar in many styles. I have a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe that I used for this but wanted completely separate EQ for each channel. This fills the bill and sounds as good as the Fender. And...no waiting for tubes to warm up. The only caveat is that the reverb… read more is a not cavernous but I have pedals for that. I also like the boost that applies to both channels thru the foot pedal. And, the controllable preamp out for a FOH mix is very handy. Well thought out design and sounds pretty darn "tubey". And lighter than the Deluxe. Very satisfied.
Better than I imagined
I bought a Peavey Bandit about 25 years ago. I loved that one, but I had to give it up after about 10 years. I've been waiting and hoping to have another. I bought a 50 watt Marshall DFX112. It's great, but never was a replacement for my Bandit. This Bandit far exceeded my expectations with the new tech it employs. The tonal options give me latitude that I never dreamed from a solid… read more state amp. (Yes, I'm an OG) And the crispness of the tube sounds outta sight! Thanks Sweetwater for your personal attention and fast friendly service. I'll be back!
Peavey Bandit 112
Very Pleased with the sound for a Solid State combo amp. It is Very loud though. I was hoping the power cut switch would quiet it down a little more for in house practice, but it's still a great amp for the money. Would buy again.
Best solid state amp ever
I've owned 3 Bandits now. It's got a great tone, is loud as a solid state stack, and I'd perfect if you're using a multi effects unit or pedalboard. None of the modeling nonsense other brands include in there non-tube offerings... just great tone and power. Don't believe the haters... this amp is a legend. It has been in circulation for 30 years for a reason! I'll never let this… read more one go again!
