Amazing Tone Machine!

Think Fender Bassman cleans and Marshall Bluesbreaker crunch and that's what I have found in my new go to amp for blues. I live in the middle gain position and use my controls on the guitar to get any sound I want. I also play it through an extension cab with a Greenback in it and that is a beautiful tone believe me...

Great workhorse!!!

I love this little amp! For shows the direct out works wonders for going into the pa for shows and the amp is a good volume to be cranked and not blow you away. The only thing I wish it had was switchable gain stages using a foot pedal for a boost for solos but the trusty tube screamer brings it up nice. Overall a fantastic amp and I would highly recommend!!

This amp is amazing for the highs and the low's that your guitar puts out. Clean tones and the range it can achieve for 15w is very impressive. Definitely recommend for small gigs or playing at home. It has great presence.

Fantastic, all-purpose amp

The Bassbreaker 15 can fill many roles. It can crank-out plenty of crunch and distortion when dialed-in. The three gain "structures" can get you from *fairly* clean, to beefy, crunchy overdrive; and with hot pickups you can certainly crank-out some metal. You probably won't be looking for super-clean sounds out of this amp, but it's not bad, either. Maybe low-output pickups could read more get you better cleans ... Anyway, this amp really responds to your pickups, so if want to tailor your tones beyond the three gain structures, you and your guitars will have to make it happen. For example, I have found with the master volume reduced, I can crank the gain to get oodles of lower-volume, very musical, distortion. My distortion pedals are getting lonely. The xlr out really makes recordings simple; and using my AI's monitor, I can really get massive, creamy sounds via the amp's cooking-hot tubes in my headphones.

Fender Bassbreaker 15

I would say that out of all the guitar amps I have owned, this is the most versatile amp I have ever played. I find that each Structure setting is very usable and to be honest, I have hardly touched my pedals since owning this amp. The Bassbreaker 15 takes pedals very well. Depending on what pedal ('s) you are using, you will have to decide where to set the Structure (gain) knob read more to get the tones you are looking for. The effects loop is decent and works really well with my looper pedal. I couldn't be happier with that. The onboard reverb sounds fantastic. It's not your typical spring reverb that you would normally see in a lot of Fender amps, but I have no complaints. It sounds great and dreamy. I love that each control knob actually does something. I've played on amps where I hardly hear any changes in sound when adjusting the EQ, but not with this amp. Any tweaking is noticed and I really appreciate that. I dig the Bright switch. It really helps hummbucking pickups not sound as dark if that's what you are going for. I also really like having metal input jacks all around the amp for stability. I haven't used every feature of this amp such as the Direct Out, but have read good things about it. Overall, I think this is fantastic amp for someone looking for versatility. From the ambient/melodic player to the hard rock/metal player, the Bassbreaker 15 can pretty much handle it all!
