Light weight, absolutely beautiful and the quality is immaculate. Thank you Taylor! The action is perfect for playability and it sounds great. I count on the 55 point inspection that Sweetwater guarantees when I buy their products so you didn't fail me with this purchase either. Thanks for the call after my order Alan. Looking forward to some Eagles, James Taylor and Neil Diamond read more songs on this Baby BBT. Only those who have dealt with this store out of Fort Wayne can relate to this review. Just hope FedEx doesn't blow it for Sweetwaters great service. Thanks again to all at Sweetwater. And keep that candy coming, I have a sweet tooth. Feel free to refer me if your customers have any doubts about service or quality.

I'm so happy I got this one !

I just got this in today and I ended up having wait a few days for it, because of a delay with Fedex . It was now that I look at it, well worth the wait. This brings back a lot of memories because back in 2017 when I made the switch from Electric to Acoustic, this model was the 1st Acoustic I had bought. Back then the headstocks were Black and I think the back and sides were I won't read more say Black, but they were pretty dark. I used a Seymour Duncan Acoustic clip on along with a Fishman Loudbox mini for my solo gigs. I don't know why Taylor discontinued this model because these new versions are IMO, much better in tone and especially looks. I like the brown headstock along with the Walnut back and sides, which give it a much brighter tone than what the older models had. This one stays in tune forever and for a slightly thinner body, can really project that Taylor tone in spades. The gigbag is top notch and the fact that it already came setup , is a huge plus in my book. Plus at my age (63) , the neck on this is much easier for me to play on. All in all, I'm going to be making a lot of great memories with this guitar.

Love my big baby

I had been wanting to purchase a Taylor guitar for years, but had put it off. I was rarely playing my old Yamaha anymore because some arthritis in my hands was making it uncomfortable. But I finally decided to pull the trigger and get a Taylor. I decided to purchase a slightly smaller version to see if the smaller neck and body size would make it easier for someone with arthritis read more to play. And then - I couldn't find one! My local music store no longer had them in stock and neither did the on-line stores that I checked into. Finally, I found Sweetwater and they offered to contact me when they had a Big Baby in stock. I went ahead and left my information, but I was convinced I'd never hear from them again. Sure enough - I got an email saying they had what I was looking for back in stock. Sweetwater has been fantastic! I've never had this kind of customer service - especially from an on-line company. They provided advice for a hard case as well as recommendations for how to properly care for the instrument. And the instrument - ? Lovely. Beautiful to look at - to listen to and to play. I'm still scraping the rust off my fingers after several years of not playing - but its really nice to feel passionate about music and an instrument again. This was supposed to be about the Taylor - I am extremely happy with my purchase. It has the sweet, clear sound that I hoped for in a slightly smaller package that is easier for me to play. Big Baby and I are still getting acquainted, but I'm looking forward to getting to know her better. Big shout out to Sweetwater - these folks are The Best.

Outstanding

This guitar is by the far the best in my collection. Not only is it beautiful, but it also sounds amazing. Very low action , which I prefer, and a big, rich sound. I'm so glad I bought it! Shipping was quick, and the guitar was well- packaged.
