TJ Jackson hooked me up with these and I couldn't be happier. This is my second set. This replaced a JB in a custom shop Jackson. I tried several bridge hum buckers including a Wolfgang Frankenbucker. The Black winter is great all around pickup. Thanks Sweetwater

These things are brutal! I got the set put in my Jackson soloist and they sound phenomenal.my pinch harmonics have never come so easy. Clean sound is really clear too. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking to go super heavy from stock pickups. But be warned as soon as you stop playing with them the temperature drops about 12 degrees lol.

Powerful humbucker that retains clarity in chords. Massive bottom end. Well suited for low tunings. Cleans up nicely with the volume knob so it's versatile. Very pleased.

After trying out countless pickup sets and combos, and finally deciding to leave active EMG'S for good, I spent the money and installed the Black Winter trembucker pickup with the corresponding Black Winter neck pickup. Already left my review on the matching neck humbucker, but this one deserve some love as well, the BW's fulfill my wishes, hands down the best, very versatile and sublime at heavy distortion. Black (metal) winter forever.
