Installed this neck pickup in a 2021 Fender Am Pro II Tele. The original neck pickup sounded like it had a blanket covering it. Very thin and weak. I replaced both pots with matched 250k CTS pots. Installed a MoJoTone .047k OIP cap along with a PureTone output jack and a Chrome Electrosocket. The stock bridge pickup sounds good so I left it in the guitar. The neck pickup being Alnico… read more 2 and the stock bridge being a mix of Alnico 2 and 5 work well together. The neck pickup output installed is 7.16k and the bridge is 7.17k. A very close match. Now I am much happier with the guitar.
Great Traditional style Tele pickup that offers a little more

Just a great sounding Telecaster pickup. Very traditional sound but just a little more meaty. This replaced a Dimarzio Twang King which is also a great traditional pickup but a little more polite. I'm very pleased with this as an upgrade
