I ordered this guitar mid day Wednesday 4/7. Fed Ex delivered it mid day Friday 4/9. It is absolutely beautiful and sounds great. This is the without question, the best looking and nicest sounding guitar I have ever owned. I was afraid to even touch it, it is so nice. I couldn't have asked for a better looking, better sounding guitar. It is a real piece of musical art! My sales read more rep, Noah was also very helpful, making sure I got the guitar I wanted and the extras I wanted. Thank you, Noah.

Was looking at 3 different 12 strings in this price range. Really interested in the Breedlove..nothing out there like it. thanks to Bob's insight ,I made the plunge. OMG this instrument is so beautiful i"m hesitant to take a pick to it..no kiddin.Had Sweetwater do a setup..I'm in love. I have not played a 12 string in 25 yrs, and poorly at that. this guitar sings and I made a friend read more for life.

Superb Instrument

It had been 30 or more years since I owned a 12 string, but I was determined to add one if I could find a quality instrument that would play with ease and sound great. While I am most reluctant to purchase a guitar without spending 3 or 4 hours playing it, I ordered the Oregon Concerto Bourbon 12 string. Nitish and the Sweetwater team were, as always, outstanding, and I received read more the guitar less that 24 hours later. The finish on the guitar is beautiful ... gorgeous color and high-gloss shine. The myrtlewood has a distinctly appealing aroma ... yes, I'm a soundhole sniffer! My wife and I both smiled when I strummed the first big open chord ... we knew this was going to be a winner! I intend to keep this guitar in DADGAD tuning, which I use extensively and do a lot of heavy strumming. This instrument was made for that. The sustain from the big myrtlewood body is incredible ... the chords ring for-ev-er! The tone and playability of this 12 string are amazing. The craftsmanship is superb and the finish is stunning. The on-board electronics provide a gorgeous, natural sound. I loathe having to reach into a soundhole to change a preamp battery, but I was willing to overlook that minor issue. one other small issue is the headstock shape. I like the design that keeps the bend angle of the strings crossing the nut to a minimum ... however the headstock does not provide a space large enough to affix a Snark tuner ... a minor point indeed, but an inconvenience. The case the instrument was shipped in is a disappointment. Breedlove calls this a "deluxe hardshell case" ... but there's nothing "deluxe" about it. The case is poorly-made, and this fine instrument deserves better.
