Here's my post 24 hour evaluation: After 24 hours of waiting, finally I was able to play my Takamine EF381DX for over 6 hours. Very consistent.....10 Fun to play............10 Audio ...SWEET....10 Feels great............10 Stays in tune.........10 Body and style......10 Hard case is a PLUS I hope it's as sturdy as it looks. I haven't found any flaws as yet. For now, it's a 10 read more out of ten and highly recommended. That goes to Takamine EF381DX and SWEETWATER.

I ordered my TAK ef381dx on 05/04/2021 and I got the package 2 days later . WHAAAT? LIGHTNING FAST! !(From sweetwater of course) And that's just for starter. I immediately unboxed it. And there it was... a brown Takamine hard case enclosed Takamine EF381DX BLACK sweet smelling (but toxic. I was so tempted to sniff but gotta be careful) It is tuned; ready to play and waiting to read more amaze. And y'all, I really was/am amazed! It's a black beauty and the sound is resonatingly very very sweet! It's well worth the investment. I'm glad I didn't hesitate buying it. Thanks SWEETWATER, thanks, Logan Miller. Thanks, TAKAMINEEEE!

Well made,

Now I'm just a "meat and potatoes" guitar player, nothing fancy, I have several 6 string guitars, electric solid body, and a couple acoustics, but I've wanted a 12 string for a while. So, I decided to treat myself and set a $... limit. This is my first online purchase of a guitar, but having had excellent results with numerous Sweetwater sales over the years, thought I might try read more it. I bought a demo model of this EF381DX, and quite honestly cannot find the one issue that was pointed out making it a demo sale. It was shipped over the Holiday season, well packed in a double boxed system, in a fitted case. It arrived FedEx in perfect condition, and yes I did allow the 24 "warm-up" period the label on the outer box recommended. This guitar is beautifully made, the fit and finish at every joint, intersection and seam is just flawless. The thing that surprised me the most was how little extra effort is needed to comfortably play this thing. Yes, it will take some time to get by the clunkers and so on, that my left hand is not accustomed to the wider fretboard and double set of strings, but it is a lot easier than a lot of other 12 strings I have picked up in the past. You don't need a lot of effort to get this guitar to be pretty full bodied sound wise. It comes with a decent fitted case. The tuners are smooth acting, the on-board pre-amp/electronic tuner is a snap to use, and compared to a pricy plug-it-in stand alone tuner, there is no disagreement between them. I will enjoy playing this guitar, and I bet you will, too!

Excellent guitar and amazing playability.

I have a Takamine EF341SC and it plays like butter and it sounds excellent plugged in. Since I had such great experience with the EF342SC, I decided to choose Takamine again when deciding to buy a 12-string. Again, I am super happy with Takamine. The brand delivered on my expectations (I also have Martin's, Alvarez, Gibson, and Fender branded guitars - I like them all). The particularly read more amazing benefit of this Takamine is that it is SUPER easy to play up and down the neck, particularly for a 12-string. Wow. Highly recommended.
