TC Electronic Bucket Brigade Analog Delay Pedal
Awesome delay pedal for the price.. Works Great for my needs... Sweetwater is the Best!!!! JJMcCabe
For the price it can’t be beat
I needed a very simple analog delay to play around parallel connections with a TC Flashback. Pros: Analog, cheap, small/compact, comes with modulation, simple to use Cons: Even with the MOD turned off, the delays still get modulated especially when the feedback is past 12o'clock; the in/out jacks are too close to each other that only straight or very slim angled patch cable will… read more work with certain power cables (the power in is on top between the in/out). If the feedback is to the left of 12o'clock, the delays fade out very quickly, but when you increase the feedback for longer delay trails, then there's modulation
Didn't work out of the box bad build quality
I was excited to get a bargain for just a basic quick slap delay but was extremely disappointed when it arrived. Was packaged well but does not seem to be road worthy. Unboxed the pedal and got it hooked up to the power supply and the LED light worked and that was it. No effect, no matter what the knobs were set on. This obviously did not make the trip through shipping, no damage… read more to the packaging whatsoever. Would not recommend this pedal due to poor durability. I guess the old saying is true, you get what you pay for. On a side note one of the reviewers on this pedal on youtube did have an intermittent thump with the same pedal. Don't waste your money trying to save a buck.
Needs Improvement
I just got this pedal and it deffinately removes the top and bottom frequencies of my instrument when its turned on. Even with the delay volume turned all the way down. It's Sweetwater add says- True bypass operation mantains your signal integrity whether on or off. The Sweetwater tech i spoke to said this should be expected from a TC Electronic pedal for 69$ (and for all Sound… read more Tribe and Behringer products) but i dissagree. My other pedals maintain the original sound no problem. I had to pay return shipping. I assumed it was so cheap because its a half size tiny pedal with a very simple single analog delay circuit made by a huge company. But the tech said its actually analog=vintage sound=crappy quality, which I also disagree with.
