If you are a serious player who needs a 40 watt clean machine, don't hesitate.
I mean what can I say, I have had fenders, and while I love the tone I don't love the build quality. I have blackstars, not my thing. This thing has blown away every single amp I have owned and then some. Even my wife, who really is "tone" def when it comes to these types of things came out from the other room and said she couldn't understand why I wanted to spend this type of… read more money on an amp when I have so many already, but she gets it now. She said "Creamy and warm". Those words have never been uttered from her mouth before. She actually hung out while I played for once, usually she runs for the hills because she can't stand the blues.. I was actually flabbergasted. I also can't begin to tell you how well built this thing is. Found the fedex delivery lady flipping the box end over end instead of using a dolly. I ran outside yelling at her... she didn't give a crap. I was very worried because she wasn't just laying it down softly she was dropping it from corner to corner. So far, been two days, no issues. My fenders crapped out with being babied. I am a Mesa convert now.
